Reviews and Ratings
I struck lucky with this hotel's prime location near the temple bar area and enjoyed great music by Stephen Finlay and his band. The rooms were clean, reasonably sized, and originally decorated, although the view was limited to a brick wall. The service was friendly and professional with health and safety measures well-implemented, especially during the current climate. The dining experience was amazing, featuring perfectly cooked and fresh dishes. I appreciated the sensational food choices available until 11.00. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel's rooms took some time to warm up due to underfloor heating, but once heated, they were hotter than the Sahara. However, there was an unknown smell, possibly from a dirty mob, making the experience less pleasant. The room faced the entrance of the hotel, coinciding with the entrance of the pub next door.
The hotel's rooms, although a bit dated and warm, eventually reached a comfortable temperature. However, they were spacious and relatively clean. The service was exceptional, with a pet-friendly policy and welcoming staff. The location allowed for early check-in after a long flight and easy access to Dublin. The dining offerings were nice but could use some variety. Overall, a decent choice for those looking for a budget-friendly stay.
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, providing a nice and quiet atmosphere ideal for relaxation. The location was great, surrounded by beautiful old buildings and close to shopping areas. However, there were some issues with the dining experience, as the quality of the sausages at breakfast was poor. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional, with friendly staff accommodating our needs.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, although being above the hotel's beer garden meant some noise on Saturday evenings. The service was warm and courteous, going the extra mile to accommodate my needs. The location was not very central but had a good neighborhood atmosphere, being within Rathmines and close to the city center. The dining experience was enjoyable with a variety of options. Overall, a comfortable and welcoming stay.
The hotel rooms were spotless with a great shower and nice tea making facilities. Despite the challenge of no lifts to the upper floors, the staff were helpful and efficient in moving us to a lower ground floor room. The only downside was the distance to the city center, requiring transportation by taxi or bus.
